Reply uglyrunnerfeet on October 6, 2012 at 2:24 pm I’m slowly learning not to be! Reply Army Amy on October 6, 2012 at 2:47 pm I’m a perfectionist in general, but when it comes to running, not so much. I’m happy to just let my runs be what they are. Racing, on the other hand, is a different story. If I feel that I have a PR in me, and I don’t get it, I can be really hard on myself.* Reply sarahsdoodles on October 6, 2012 at 6:43 pm I needed this! My running buddy and I set out for 20 miles and ended up stopping at 18 due to severe muscle pain. Better than an injury, though! Reply John on October 6, 2012 at 6:50 pm Very true! Reply NinaLemon on October 7, 2012 at 12:35 am So needed this today! I was pretty upset this AM after a run which wasn’t “perfect”. Throughout the day I felt much better realizing it was further than I could run just last week Reply MikeW on October 7, 2012 at 6:21 am Definitely not a perfectionist, on the other hand, trying to run more efficiently each outing. Ran intervals in the mountains this beautiful day. Grateful for good conditions out there today. And for this blog: good focal point. Reply 100daysofrunning on October 8, 2012 at 12:19 pm I just concentrate on moving for now – perfection is something to aim for! Reply Jaimee on October 9, 2012 at 12:41 am Love it! Great advice for even outside the world of running. Thanks for the like, too! Reply Trackbacks/Pingbacks Motivational image #25 | Jenny's Incredible Journey - [...] Motivational image #25.
